DESIGN TEMPLE COLABA | JUN 2011 - APRIL 2017 Divya launches Design Temple Colaba as a much-needed playground for contemporary Indian design. Over a 6 year run, this experential space hosts talks, salons, spearheads multiple creative collaborations and houses a small section of cool collectibles from Design Temple. Situated in the heart of Mumbai’s cultural district, Design Temple Colaba becomes an experimental hub like no other - facilitating multiple and dynamic purposes, functioning as an urban sanctum for creative inspiration and interaction.
Blending the sensorial experience of design with retail, the space incorporated a gallery and a dedicated enclave for browsing design books and magazines
Besides showcasing an exceptional collection of graphic art through seasonal shows, the gallery initiated collaborations with various creative minds
Visitors could step in to browse through design books and magazines while they hunted for collectibles at the design shop
To promote dialogue within the community and beyond, Design Temple Colaba also regularly hosted talks, meet-ups and salons in keeping with the season’s display
